Granite Bay is an upscale community in Placer County situated east of Roseville and west of Folsom Lake. Eureka Union School District consistently holds the highest academic performance index of any district within 50 miles of Sacramento and is a major draw for the community, along with the neighboring Roseville Joint Union School District. Both offer International Baccalaureate (IB) level education programs at Granite Bay High School as well as Oakmont High School.

Granite Bay is home to shopping centers filled with restaurants, coffee shops, fitness studios and seasonal farmers markets. Residents need not travel far for family-friendly outings, with Sacramento and Roseville minutes away.
